How to start a mindfulness practice

I know, I know.  We’ve all asked ourselves this same question.  “How do I start a mindfulness practice?”

It’s really as simple as anything.  Many of us think we don’t have the time to fit one more thing in, but all it takes is 5 minutes. 


5 minutes! We all have 5 minutes to spare.  


Pick a quiet place, and find a mindfulness app that you like - there are so many out there!  Or even just set a timer for 5 minutes and start by slowing down your breathing.  As you settle into your breathing, you will also slow down your mind.


If you want to take baby steps, you can even start with 1 minute!  It gets easier with time and practice.
